It offers latest products and services, such as distributed and network 2D and 3D games, video machines and multimedia kiosks, WAN and LAN network management systems, data acquisition systems, embedded real time systems, data transmission and exchange protocols.

Challenge
With increasing number of equipment, rental and fixed assets in NOVOMATIC Technologies Poland S.A. there was a need of implementing new complex tool to managing. The company needed a solution which will enable them to operate and monitor rentals and equipment, create complementation, assigning localizations and responsible people and conduct inventory. Integration with data collectors and bar code printer was also necessary.
The main needs of NTP were:
- Full control over fixed assets, equipment and rentals;
- Assigning fixed assets, rentals and equipment to specific people;
- Possibility to create protocols of transmission;
- The ability to conduct inventory;
- Assigning information about fixed assets in system;
- Handling and printing various types of bar codes (of different size, appearance and properties);
- The ability to import and export data between the collector and the system.
Microsoft Dynamics application enables precise recording, tracking, amortization and disposal of company assets. It allows to achieve maximum flexibility and does not require advanced IT knowledge.
Solution
After consulting partner – IT Vision company, which earlier implemented in NTP integrated managing system Microsoft Dynamics – it was clear that the company only needed to extend module for managing fixed assets with additional functionalities. The programming work went smoothly, without causing difficulties for the company.
Module for managing fixed assets in Microsoft Dynamics application enables precise recording, tracking, amortization and disposal of company assets. It allows to achieve maximum flexibility and does not require advanced IT knowledge. Thanks to implemented solution every purchase, depreciation or sale of a fixed asset result in updating data during posting in all areas of the system. Creating a variety of reports is just as easy. It is possible to post transactions regarding fixed assets based on various reports and statistics. This saves efforts, time and money.
The solution implemented in NTP enables full handling of fixed assets, equipment and rentals. All equipment is covered with bar codes 2D (separate for fixed assets, equipment and rentals). They are printed from the system and contain encrypted information from the rentals, equipment or fixed assets records. Additionally, with the same bare code it is possible to mark purchase invoice, which ensures unique identification, allows to associate documents with equipment and promotes efficient data organization. It is possible to assign an employee responsible for a given asset and specify a location code.

The implemented extension of the Microsoft Dynamics system facilitates the management of equipment, rentals and fixed assets in NTP. Enables support for bar code readers to identify individual equipment and materials.
Thanks to the implemented solution, it is possible to easily receive information about the date of acceptance of the equipment, location, employee responsible, serial number and assigned bar code number.
Due to the large number of rentals, it is very important at NTP to keep a record of rented fixed assets. This feature automates the handling of fixed assets and significantly streamlines work.
